🃏 How to Play Solitaire (Klondike) - Rules & Instructions
Objective
Move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles, building each from Ace to King by suit.
Setup
Seven columns of cards are dealt on the tableau. The first column has one card, the second has two, and so on. The top card of each column is face-up; the rest are face-down. Remaining cards form the stock pile.
How to Play
- Tableau: Build columns downward in alternating colors. For example, place a red 6 on a black 7.
- Moving stacks: You can move a sequence of properly ordered cards together.
- Empty columns: Only Kings (or sequences starting with a King) can be placed in empty columns.
- Stock pile: Click to draw cards. You can play the top card to the tableau or foundations.
- Foundations: Build up by suit from Ace to King (A, 2, 3... Q, K).
Tips
- Always play an Ace to the foundation when you can.
- Expose face-down cards whenever possible.
- Don't rush to fill empty columns unless you have a King ready.
♥ How to Play Hearts - Rules & Instructions
Objective
Have the lowest score when the game ends. Hearts are worth 1 point each, and the Queen of Spades is worth 13 points.
Setup
Four players are each dealt 13 cards. Before each hand, players pass three cards to another player (the direction rotates each hand).
How to Play
- The player with the 2 of Clubs leads the first trick.
- Players must follow suit if they can. If they can't, they may play any card.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick.
- Hearts cannot be led until a heart has been "broken" (played on another trick).
- You cannot play hearts or the Queen of Spades on the first trick.
Scoring
- Each heart taken = 1 point
- Queen of Spades = 13 points
- Shooting the Moon: If you take all hearts AND the Queen of Spades, everyone else gets 26 points and you get 0.
- Game ends when someone reaches 100 points. Lowest score wins.
♠ How to Play Spades - Rules & Instructions
Objective
Be the first partnership to reach 500 points by accurately bidding and winning tricks.
Setup
Four players in two partnerships. Each player is dealt 13 cards. Partners sit across from each other.
Bidding
Each player bids the number of tricks they expect to win. Partners' bids are combined into a team bid.
How to Play
- The player to the dealer's left leads first.
- Players must follow suit if possible.
- Spades are always trump and beat any other suit.
- If you can't follow suit, you may play any card including a spade.
- The highest card of the led suit wins, unless a spade was played.
Scoring
- Make your bid: 10 points per trick bid, plus 1 point per overtrick
- Fail your bid: Lose 10 points per trick bid
- Overtricks (bags): Every 10 bags = -100 point penalty
- Nil bid (0 tricks): +100 if successful, -100 if you take any trick
🃏 How to Play FreeCell - Rules & Instructions
Objective
Move all cards to the four foundation piles, building from Ace to King by suit.
Setup
All 52 cards are dealt face-up into 8 columns. Four "free cells" in the corner can each hold one card temporarily.
How to Play
- Tableau: Build downward in alternating colors, one card at a time.
- Free cells: Use these to temporarily store cards. Only one card per cell.
- Moving multiple cards: You can move a stack if you have enough free cells and empty columns.
- Foundations: Build up by suit from Ace to King.
Tips
- Keep free cells open as long as possible.
- Try to empty a column early for more flexibility.
- Plan several moves ahead.
